INTRODUCTION OF SPOONS AND A SPORK 

Spoons and a Spork is a reimagining of the classic speed game Spoons.  In this game, players will be racing to form a four-of-a-kind in their hand.  The first to do so wins a trophy card for the round and gets first draw from the score pile.  As soon as that player draws a card, everyone else draws as quickly as possible.  The twist is that there are sporks in the pile as well.  These will reduce a player’s score at the end of the round.  After a series of rounds, whoever has the most points wins.

The deck of 52 cards contains four suits ranking (low) Ace – King (high).  The 100 card scoring deck contains 50 spoon cards, 38 spork cards, and 12 trophy cards. 

SETUP 

From the spoon and spork scoring deck, pull the correct number of spoons and sporks.  Shuffle them together and place the pile face-down in the center of the table.
